We've arrived to Bogor, Indonesia. The flight trip was great, the kids slept almost all the way and we had space to stretch the legs, wow! Our hosts are very friendly and we're very happy to be spending our first days here with them. The weather is hot and wet and the town busy. We feel a bit tired but the kids look like they've been here for ages, kids aren't fragile as sometimes we're led to believe. By the end of our first day a tropical rain poured down and the children just took a joyful shower. Selemat malam.

De Krat day
Yesterday we received our one and only "krat" of vegetables, fruits, pie, bread and cod fish. Lekker!!! Some dear friends of ours told us about this weekly delivery of local, from the season and organic products here in Amsterdam. We were just looking for something of the kind, but since we're soon been leaving town we decided to postpone it for our return. In the meantime, last weekend we went to the Pure Markt by Gerswinplein, near our place, and decided to drop by and see what was happening there. There we met Yvo from De krat and after chit chatting a bit he offered to deliver us just one krat before we left. Cool! And we also met our dear friends there and had English pies together. Nice!
They come with recipes also!

Count down
We're 10 days apart from our departure day. Destination: Bogor, Indonesia. We're moving from A to B, from Amsterdam to Bogor, for 365 days. One year of Indonesian experience. At home, the boxes pile up and all around the place the shelves are left nude. Empty of our stuff. This is a wonderful way to declutter. At this stage, a mix of feelings arise... waiting for days of peace and quiet before leaving.
